How to Adjust Bra Straps

Having trouble adjusting your bra straps? Then read this article to find out how you can do it without asking someone else to do it for you.

1.) Look for the little rectangular or circular clip on the back of your bra strap.

2.) Loosen your bra strap by pulling the clip up to the desired size.

3.) Tighten your bra strap by pulling the front part of the strap - not the clip. Pull it down to the desired size.

4.) Repeat on the other side in order to obtain even bra straps.

The bra should rest about 1/2" from the bottom of your armpit.

If the bra strap is too loose the strap will fall off your shoulder.

If the bra strap is too tight it will leave indentions when you take it off.

For the majority of bra wearers, the ideal position for the fullest part of the bra cup after adjusting is halfway between shoulder and elbow.

Consider a professional fitting at a department or specialty store.
